Do you use a computer or cell phone? In today’s society, technology plays a huge role in how we communicate with one another. The need for accurate and timely online information in association management is more important than ever. With that being said, the most efficient association boards are demanding high-tech ways for their communities to communicate. New, state-of-the-art software solutions are being used by many communities to help manage association processes and records online. Active community websites, which include event calendars, announcements, account inquiry and payment systems, are also being used. Some communities are even turning to social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, to communicate with residents. Additionally, managers, board members, and staff are becoming more educated and informed through various human resources training and development tools.

With integrating higher technology into their practices, communities are increasing productivity, therefore resulting in more timely communication between management and residents.
